Too many workers in New Jersey still do not know about paid leave!
There are countless health and economic benefits connected to workers’ ability to access paid leave. However, research has shown that there is a lack of awareness and understanding of paid leave among New Jersey workers. Lower income workers, workers of color, and immigrant workers are most likely to need access to paid leave and are also among those most likely to be unaware of their paid leave rights.

The NJ Paid Leave Outreach Collaborative works to increase workers’ and employers’ awareness and understanding of paid leave in New Jersey so that all workers can access paid time off when they need it the most.
Organizational members of the Collaborative come together to meet to learn, discuss and coordinate efforts to increase awareness and ensure access to paid leave. Together we will achieve more equitable access to paid leave in New Jersey.
